"Just what we needed! Your presentation
re-energized each of us and showed us ways to find humor and a release
for the stress that we encounter. Many of the workshop attendees shared
their enthusiasm for your presentation and felt that it was the highlight
of the day. We all left with some ideas to bring more humor and laughter
into our lives. I will definitely recommend this presentation to other
groups."
Cheryl Waterman, Executive Director, United Way of Adams County
This year's opening ceremony at the Relay for
Life was fantastic. The interactive performance, "Laughter Therapy"
tied in with the overall theme of the evening. I'm sure you could hear
laughter all over the East side of Quincy when she had the entire grand
stand doing the wave! Kudos to you Bobbe White!
Glennon J. Rost, Adams County Relay for Life
"Bobbe White's laughter program was one
of our best programs of the year. It made us realize how important it
is for humor to be part of our daily lives. It was quite entertaining
to observe our members participate in some of Bobbe's "therapy."
I would recommend Bobbe's program to any type of organization."
Pat Bauer, Gem City Breakfast Kiwanis
"Bravo! Bravo! A definite well-deserved
standing ovation! It was just amazing to watch you take a room full of
people and within minutes, have everyone participating, laughing and feeling
great! On behalf of Altrusa, thank you, Bobbe, not only for showing us,
but reminding us how to relax, feel silly, and laugh until we cry. It
was not only one of the best programs we've had all year, it was the most
refreshing, inspiring and stress free program. We would recommend it for
everyone!"
Bonnie Garkie, President-elect, Altrusa International, Inc.
"This is a seminar you won't want to miss!
Listen up employers...send your employees to a seminar that will be truly
beneficial. The laughter therapy was fantastic! It helped give me new
insight on how to handle stress professionally and personally. Life is
too short not to fill it with laughter."
Kelly Stern, Altrusa International, Inc.
On behalf of the Rotary Club of Quincy, we wish
to thank you for your wonderful presentation on the importance of laughter
in our lives. It was enlightening to see the many ages and both genders
of our membership inter-relating through a smile and sense of humor. We
really must learn not to take ourselves or life quite so seriously. Thank
you again. We would highly recommend this program to any type of organization
or business.
Debbie E. Naught, President-Elect Rotary Club of Quincy
Bobbe White's Laughter Therapy was a great way
to start the Relay for Life event in Adams County. She did a great job
presenting it and got everyone involved. It is something for every one
of all ages and resulted in chuckles from the whole crowd. Particularly
for this type of event, it was nice to see people who have been through
so much have some fun. As they say, laughter is the best medicine!
Kim Windhorst, American Cancer Society, Relay for Life
"This lovely and talented lass dazzeled the
gang with her own brand of reality, empathy and participation. Lots of
lessons to be learned from that exercise and the throng responded well.
As if the Exchange Club needed even more opportunities to express their
humor, we were given a big portion by Bobbe. Complete with funny glasses,
stress balls and a chance to interact. It doesn't get much better than
that. We thank Bobbe for bringing her special gifts for us to enjoy."

"What can I say except "HA HA HA!!! I have
never seen our group participate so much with a speaker as they did with
you. You had even the most stone faced funeral director laughing and dancing
with you. You have shown us where to find stress release in this busy
world and that it is o.k. to have fun. I had people come up to me and
actually thank me for having you come speak to us. We are already planning
on having you come again. Thank you again for a fun-filled evening. I
hope word spreads of you and I, for one, will be sure to encourage people
to come listen to you."
Brian Heinze, Secretary/Treasurer, Tri-State Funeral Directors
Quincy, IL
"Than you so much for magic perfomance. It
was magic to see a roomful of sober, mature women turn into giggling,
chortling, belly-laughing junior high girls! Therapeutic? Probably. Fun?
Yes, indeed!"
